2018 Video and Photo Contests Now Open!

Cat Festival Photo Contest

The 2018 Edmonton International Cat Festival Video Contest and Mr. & Mrs. Purr-fect Photo Contests are Now Open!

A crowd favourite, the festival is now accepting entries for its Video Contest and Mrs. & Mrs. Purr-fect Photo Contest!

About the Video Contest

This year’s Video Contest has different entries from previous. For 2018, we’re looking for videos (up to 1 minute max) entered in either the “TV Show / Movie Parody” cat-egory, or the “Talent Show” cat-egory! Cat burglar? Soap opera drama? Action scene? How creative can you get filming your cat in a TV or Movie parody video? For the talent show, we want to see if your cat has a special talent! Showcase it for a chance to win! (And we use the term ‘talent’ pretty loosely ;) Get creative!)

Click to get more details and enter your cat videos before May 6, 2018!

About the Mrs. & Mrs. Purr-fect Photo Contest

The competition is fierce. The contestants can be catty. The poses are a-meowzing. Does your cat have what it takes to be crowned Mr. or Mrs. Purr-fect? Does your cat embody style, poise and grace? Do you often catch your cat posing, as if on a photo shoot? Submit 4 photos to qualify for the contest. We want to see your cat in the following cat-egories: Swimsuit. Formal. Everyday. and answering the question: “How would you make the world a better place?” (More tuna for all cats has been a popular answer in past ;))

Click to get more details and enter your cat photos before May 13, 2018!
