2nd Annual Edmonton International Cat Festival raises $30,000!

Big news!

This year’s 2nd Annual Edmonton International Cat Festival has raised $30,000 for local cat rescue organizations!

Pusheen Party

We’re still waiting for pay-out from our online ticketing system, and need to pay off some rental fees, but in a few weeks we will deliver cheques for $10,000 each to the Edmonton Humane Society, Little Cats Lost, and Safe Team Rescue!

On top of that, our title sponsor Nutrience – and their partner Petland – have announced that they have donated 15 cases (360 cans) of Nutrience cat food to those same three local cat rescues!

This year’s event was a huge success – we more than doubled our attendance from the previous year (1,500 attendees this year) and tripled the amount of dollars raised (from nearly $9,000 in 2014 to $30,000 in 2015!)

Thank you to everyone who attended! Below are some photos from this year’s festival (photos by Nanc Price Photography) and you can also check out more photos (and tag yourself) on our Facebook Page!
